Why This Program Matters
Building Education Pathways After Conflict
Years of conflict and displacement disrupted education for many children and young people across Northern Uganda. Although communities have made significant progress in recovery, poverty, limited access to learning materials, interrupted schooling, and other barriers continue to affect educational participation and youth opportunities.

Girls and other vulnerable young people can face additional barriers, including household economic pressures, early marriage, discrimination, and limited access to safe learning and mentorship environments.
NUYEA's Education & Youth Support program works with vulnerable children, adolescents, and young people to strengthen access to education, support continued learning, develop practical skills, and create pathways toward employment, entrepreneurship, and meaningful participation in their communities.
