THE CHALLENGE
The Legacy of Conflict
For many years, communities across Northern Uganda experienced displacement and severe disruption of essential services. While peace has returned, many families continue to face poverty, interrupted education, food insecurity, and limited healthcare access.
Recovery requires long-term investment in local solutions.

COMMUNITY-LED RECOVERY
Beyond Peace: Northern Uganda Still Needs Healing
The Northern Uganda Youth Empowerment Alliance (NUYEA)
works alongside communities in Gulu City to rebuild livelihoods, strengthen resilience, and create opportunities for long-term recovery.
As our partnership and capacity grow, we aim to expand our community-led programs across Northern Uganda
